Oktoberfest Charity Golf Outing

     This year we were blessed with beautiful weather and the event

was a great success.   Thirty-one  teams played and we had the usual

assortment of good, bad,  and ugly  shots to talk about afterward at

the pavilion.  Dinner was again catered by Lynn Vallee and Sinatra's

Catering  who always does a great job.

     Starting in 2006 we have honored  individuals or groups that have

contributed their time and efforts  to making Cuyahoga Falls a better

community.  The honoree in 2006  was Bill Clifford, in 2007 the

honorees were Harry and Bob Heath.  This year we  honored  the

Falls Cancer Club.  The Club is an all volunteer group that was

founded 60 years ago to provide financial and moral support to

Cuyahoga Falls residents who are undergoing treatment for cancer. 

They are the primary charity that we support with  this golf outing . 

We commend them for their efforts.
